Title X clinics in Nebraska

The Title X Family Planning Program became law in 1970 to provide reproductive healthcare and family planning services to low-income and uninsured people. 

In 2016, Nebraska Title X clinics served 28,000 clients, 70 percent of whom were low-income and 8,000 uninsured. About 40 percent were under the age of 24. The clinics provided: 

* 55,000 family planning patient encounters 

* 15,000+ gonorrhea tests

* 14,000+ chlamydia tests

* 9,300 breast exams 

* 7,942 Pap and HPV tests 

* 5,000 HIV tests
