Yazidi Family Arrives in Lincoln, 12.19

It's an emotional reunion as the family of Barakat Al Bashar, a Yazidi interpreter killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in 2007, arrives at the Lincoln Airport on Dec. 19. The family members were met by Hadi Pir (bottom left), a Lincoln Yazidi who was an interpreter alongside Barakat, and are moving into his house until they can get their own place.

Yazidi Family Arrives in Lincoln, 12.19

It's an emotional reunion as the family of Barakat Al Bashar, a Yazidi interpreter killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in 2007, arrives at the Lincoln Airport on Dec. 19. The family members were met by Hadi Pir (bottom left), a Lincoln Yazidi who was an interpreter alongside Barakat, and are moving into his house until they can get their own place.
