Judaism conversion

Semi-retired rabbi Michael Weisser (left) and his former wife, Julie, took Larry Trapp, a Nazi and former Ku Klux Klan member, into their home in 1992. Ultimately, Trapp renounced his membership and converted to Judaism.

Judaism conversion

Rabbi Michael Weisser (left) officiated when Larry Trapp (center) converted to Judaism in the synagogue he had once planned to bomb. Friends Charles Griffin and David Gasser served as witnesses.

Former Grand Dragon of the White Knights and Ku Klux Klan recruiter Larry Trapp was befriended by a Jewish couple in Lincoln who convinced him to give up his hatred and renounce his membership in the Klan and convert to Judaism.
