Mikah Meyer is taking a trip to honor his dad's memory. Pastor Larry Meyer died in 2005 at age 58.

Former Lincoln resident Mikah Meyer visited Delicate Arch in Utah during his 16,000-mile Dream Trip.

Mikah Meyer, a 2004 graduate of Lincoln High, now lives in Washington, D.C., where he sings professionally for the Washington National Cathedral.

Mikah Meyer drove his late father's Hyundai Elantra more than 16,000 miles in 2011-2012 -- including this trip to Banff, Alberta, Canada.

Mikah Meyer was dwarfed by this cactus in Arizona in March 2012.

Mikah Meyer pulled over somewhere in Utah to organize the trunk of the Elantra he inherited from his father.

In the National Park Service's 100-year history, only a couple of dozen people are known to have visited all of its units, a growing list that includes national parks and parkways, memorials, monuments, battlefields, historic sites, seashores, riverways and recreation areas.
