This 3-D rendering looks northwest and reflects preliminary designs for an ambitious project to eliminate railroad crossings at 33rd Street and Cornhusker Highway and at 35th and Adams streets.  Traffic would instead be rerouted with an overpass along a new section off 33rd Street that connects to an Adams Street extension running parallel to the tracks. It includes roundabouts at 33rd Street and Huntington Avenue and 33rd and Adams streets and will include new sidewalks, multi-use trails, curb ramps and upgraded traffic signals. The plan also would expand Cornhusker Highway to six lanes between Deadmans Run and North 35th Street.
