Kawasaki Motors saw the property valuation of its northwest Lincoln plant slashed in half this year — a $26 million reduction — as homeowners across Lancaster County faced increased values bumping up their property tax bills.

1. B&J Partnership

1. B&J Partnership, current landowner of the property that the Speedway Sporting Village occupies, has property in Lincoln assessed at $170,326,200. That gives Speedway a tax bill of about $3.4 million.

2. BNSF Railway

2. BNSF Railway Co. has property with a value assessed at $123,143,348 in Lincoln. This amounts to a tax bill of nearly $2.5 million.

3. Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp. USA has two production facilities at its 6600 N.W. 27th St. site in Lincoln. Kawasaki property's assessed value is $89,274,173, making for a property tax bill of about $1.8 million.
