This 1918 view shows Elliott School, certainly not Lincoln’s first school named for one of the area's first teachers, Phoebe Elliott, which stood on the northeast corner of 26th and O streets. It preceded the current Elliott School, which stands on the southwest corner of 25th and N streets, just a couple of blocks from this building.
