Photojournalist Gabriella Parsons met Ronda and Terry on a walk through her Near South neighborhood last fall. The couple were playing dominoes and invited her to join them. Parsons included their portrait in her Stories of Impact project for Collective Impact Lincoln, a coalition whose goals include fostering community and encouraging resident led leadership and resident let projects.

What: Portraits of Lincoln residents in six core neighborhoods, showcasing community strengths. Three short film portrayals from the Belmont, Clinton and University Place neighborhoods.

Who: Gabriella Parsons, photojournalist, and Collective Impact Lincoln, a coalition of three nonprofits halfway through a three-year project funded by the Woods Charitable Fund’s Breakthrough Initiative Grant to "create lasting, meaningful, resident-led investment and positive change in Lincoln’s core neighborhoods."
