Omaha City Council votes to criminalize parking on residential lawns

Omaha City Council member Ron Hug advanced an ordinance that would make it a crime to park on residential lawns, allowing for police to issue tickets and courts to issue fines. He said lawn parking is the most frequent complaint he gets from constituents.
