There are five board seats on this year's general election ballot, but only one is competitive. 

Southeast Community College

Southeast Community College’s 11-member board of governors sets tuition, approves the budget and guides the college’s strategic plan. Two members are elected from each of five districts, and one is elected at large. Members serve four-year terms and receive expense reimbursements but no pay.

SCC serves about 11,600 students this fall through campuses in Lincoln, Beatrice and Milford, as well as other sites across its 15-county area.
