Alvin George Saathoff, 96, of Cortland, died on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Funeral services: 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Soap Creek) of rural DeWitt with Pastor Johanna Buchholz officiating. A family prayer service: 2:15 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial: St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery of rural DeWitt with military honors conducted by the Nebraska Army National Guard and Cortland American Legion Post #253. Visitation: at the church one hour prior to the service.
