Lenard Roger Swenson, 91, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away October 10, 2026.
Lenard was born to Gust and Goldie Swenson in Rockford, Ill., on August 7, 1935. He enlisted in USAF and retired after 20 years. He worked for the USPS for 15 years.
He is survived by four children, William and wife, Robbin; Debbie and partner, Ron Miller; Gerald and partner, Nina Halama and Frank and partner, Tracy Griffin. He has nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Martha Jean Ross Swenson; son, Bobby Joe Swenson; his parents and nine siblings, granddaughter and great-grandson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral: Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2 p.m., also at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Neb. Memorials to Cause for Paws.

Remembering Roger as a very kind and fun person to be around. We had the honor to meet him when her visited Alaska multiple times after he had moved back to Nebraska. Always a loving family man, who adored his children and grandchildren. Rest in peace
