The removal of many trees during the recent golf course renovation at the Country Club of Lincoln means there are now better views of the State Capitol building, as well as the nearby Irving Middle School.

A golf course renovation at the Country Club of Lincoln over the past 11 months included expanded practices facilities that more closely resemble those at the site of professional tournaments. That includes a putting lawn that is 75 yards from end to end.
