De'Mornay Pierson-El has a great gift for tracking down punts other return men don't touch. (A year ago NU had just 11 punt returns. Pierson-El had 34 for 596 yards in 2014.).

But don't discount that he was starting to become dynamic in the passing game before the injury, too. In his last fully healthy game, he had eight catches for 102 yards against USC.
